You'll do a bunch of quests in a scenario helping out at the Exodar, ending with Into the Night, which will end with you in Krokuun aboard the Vindicaar. Return to Archmage Khadgar in the Violet Citadel (again) and this time he should have The Hand of Fate (Alliance) or The Hand of Fate (Horde) which will take you back to Stormwind as Alliance, Orgrimmar as Horde. When you're done, you'll be standing on the Broken Shore. When you're finished, return to Archmage Khadgar and get Assault on Broken Shore. If you're at least level 45, you should be able to get Uniting the Isles. You'll start with Archmage Khadgar in the Violet Citadel. I was doing mostly editorial work and my illustrations appeared in magazines like Nickelodeon, Family Fun, and Disney Adventures. “For more than ten years I worked as a freelance illustrator specializing in art for kids. Eventually I started drawing cartoons and illustrations for the magazine and my career as an illustrator was born. First I was a waiter, and then I was offered a part-time job at a magazine for teenagers. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do. ![]() “After high school, I studied fine art at The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and graduated with a BFA in 1982. I had no idea back then that I’d end up writing and illustrating children’s books when I grew up. Seuss’ words and I was fascinated by the meticulous detail of Robert McCloskey’s illustrations. Seuss and Robert McCloskey were my heroes. My specialty was aliens, robots, and monsters. Another would draw animals so realistic you’d swear they were breathing. ![]() One of my brothers would sketch intricate war scenes. We didn’t have video games or computers to entertain us, so we drew instead. As a child, my brothers and I would spend hours drawing pictures. I’ll announce the authors once that is totally pinned down, but we’ve got some great and talented authors lined up for these. The third volume the theme is the city, and it’s called Down These Mean Streets. This next one is called No Game for Gentlemen, and the theme is detectives. The first one the theme was femme fatales. ![]() Up first, there will be two more volumes of noir sci-fi/fantasy anthologies like Noir Fatale, and I’ll be editing them along with Kacey Ezell again.
